The situation with the availability of antibiotics in Ukraine is under control. Hospitals are provided with the necessary stock of antibacterial drugs. This was stated during a briefing by Health Minister Maxim Stepanov.
“I have repeatedly held meetings with representatives of pharmaceutical companies and I can assure you that we have a completely controlled situation. Ukrainian hospitals are fully equipped with antibiotics; some have an additional supply of antibacterial drugs. There are no problems, “Stepanov said.
The Minister also believes that Ukrainian producers have the necessary capacity to increase production of antimicrobial drugs and are able to meet the projected needs of health care facilities in the event of a deterioration in the epidemic situation.
