Marin noted that she wants to reach a consensus in the Finnish parliament. She stressed that there is no fixed schedule for the decision, but “everything has changed since the Russian invasion of Ukraine.”
“All parliamentary groups, as well as the president, will have the opportunity to make decisions in the coming weeks,” she said.
Today, the Finnish government presented a report examining the “radically changed” security environment, according to The Daily Mail. It will first go through parliament, and next week the country will begin debating NATO membership.
