Ukraine Gate- Kyiv – April 14, 2022- The head of the Ukrainian Committee for Education, Serhiy Babak, announced on social media that the Russian army is still deliberately destroying the infrastructure in Ukraine. During the fifty days of the war, it bombed and destroyed 957 educational institutions, 88 of which could not be restored.
Babak has repeatedly stated that after the victory, Ukraine will rebuild everything, and although about 3.5 million students have returned to school, there are still schools that continue to study remotely in 14 regions of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Education and Science said that displaced children have the opportunity to attend school in their temporary place of residence, as the number of these students reached nearly 71,000 students.
