Ukraine Gate- Kyiv – April 16, 2022- The spokesperson for the Ukrainian Embassy in India stated that the Embassy organized an exhibition “Light vs. Darkness” in support of the Ukrainians against the war on April 14, 2022.
The exhibition consists of two parts: The first part, Darkness, contains images of cities destroyed by the Russian invaders and civilians killed and maimed. Against the background of these atrocities, the resilience and mutual support of the Ukrainians during the terrible trials is demonstrated.
The second part, The Light, contains drawings of Ukrainian children from Zaporizhia, Donetsk and Ternopil, taken in late 2021.
The statement said that the main idea of the exhibition is to show the serious consequences of the Russian aggression on Ukraine, the struggle of Ukrainians for freedom and the continuing desire of Ukrainians for peace.
The exhibition will also include a video for children authors of drawings, and the exhibition will be open to visitors at the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of India until April 18, 2022, after which the exhibition will be shown in other cultural and educational institutions and in a number of accredited embassies in New Delhi.
