Ukraine Gate- Kyiv – April 19, 2022- The spokesperson for the Prosecutor General’s Office said that as of today, since the beginning of the armed aggression against Ukraine, more than 572 children have been injured in Ukraine, and during the past 24 hours, the number of children killed has not changed, 205 children were killed and the number of wounded increased to 367.
According to juvenile prosecutors, the children most affected were in the Donetsk region – 118, Kyiv – 108, Kharkiv – 91, Chernihiv – 54, Kherson – 43, Mykolaiv – 40, Luhansk – 36, Zaporizhia – 25, the capital – 16, Sumy – 16 , Zhytomyr – 15.
The bombing by the Russian armed forces damaged 1,141 educational institutions, of which 99 were completely destroyed.
The Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Lyudmila Denisova also informed the facts of the illegal deportation of 13 Ukrainian orphans by the Russian army from Mariupol to Russia.
