Ukraine Gate- Kyiv – April 23, 2022- Spokesman for the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Stephane Dujarric, announced that the Secretary-General will visit Ukraine at the end of next April to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba to discuss expanding humanitarian assistance to the brotherly Ukrainian people.
Guterres will also visit Moscow on April 26 to meet with Putin.
According to the Secretary-General at this time of great danger, he would like to discuss urgent steps to achieve peace and “the future of multilateralism on the basis of the Charter of the United Nations and international law.”
