This was stated by Advisor to the Head of the Presidential Office Mykhailo Podoliak in an interview for Ukrainian TV channels.
The Ukrainian delegation suggests that the Russians come to Mariupol to take people out of the blockaded city as a result of the negotiations and further resolve the issue from a military point of view.
As reported the deputy commander of the Azov regiment with the call sign “Kalyna” Svyatoslav Palamar shared that the command of the Mariupol defenders spoke with the adviser to the head of the Presidential Office Mykhailo Podoliak and the head of the negotiating group David Arakhamiya . They had agreed to come to Mariupol. Podoliak and Arakhamiya were ready to negotiate with the representatives of the Russian Federation Vladimir Medinsky and Leonid Slutsky about the evacuation of the military of the Mariupol garrison.
As of April 22, the Ukrainian side had not received any response from the Russian Federation to the proposal in this regard, it said.
