In 2021, Ukrzaliznytsia plans to raise ticket prices for passengers.
Ukrzaliznytsia plans to receive UAH 3.53 billion in net profit in 2021. For comparison, the target for 2020 is UAH 0.07 million, while revenue is reduced by 3.2% to UAH 86.504 billion.
Revenue projected for 2021 is UAH 86.504 billion, 15.4% more than the expected result for 2020.
Revenues from passenger transportation are projected at UAH 7.762 billion, which is 43.6% higher than the plan for 2020.
In addition, in 2021 it is planned to index tariffs for domestic passengers from March 1 by 2% per month. Additional revenues will amount to UAH 557.9 million.
Additional trains for winter holidays
Ukrzaliznytsia has scheduled a number of trains in the popular directions for the New Year and Christmas holidays: Kyiv – Solotvyno, Odessa – Lviv (Uzhhorod) / Rakhiv, Kovel – Odessa, Mariupol – Lviv, Khmelnytsky – Lysychansk.
