They finished decorating the country’s main Christmas tree on Sophia Square today.
On it you can see acorns, mushrooms, owls and squirrels, since this year’s theme is a fairy forest. Also, they have already hung the garlands.
This year, for the first time, the country’s main Christmas tree is completely artificial.
This year in Kiev there will be a new New Year’s walking route from the People’s Friendship Arch through the pedestrian bridge and Andreevsky descent to Kontraktova Square. Light art installations will be placed along the route. An open-air skating rink will open on Kontraktova Square.
