Elections in France: Macron defeats Le Pen in the second round, which will give him a reason to run for a second term

KYIV.UkraineGate , 25 ,  April , 2022 | War News Incumbent French President Emmanuel Macron defeats the leader of the far-right National Union party, Marine Le Pen, in the second round of the French presidential election.

At the national level, Emmanuel Macron received 58.60% of the vote. Marin Le Pen received 41.40% of the vote.

Thus, Emmanuel Macron will remain president of the republic.

According to BFMTV, the re-elected head of state at the end of the second round of the presidential election received almost the majority of votes against his rival Marine Le Pen.

All electoral institutions give similar results, as well as a high number of abstentions and a large proportion of forms and invalid ballots.
