Ukrainians win six medals at European Judo Cups

Ukraine Gate- Kyiv – April 25, 2022- Ukrainian athletes have won six European Judo Cup awards, four of them gold in three matches.
Zur Donamaliev won the gold medal in the 90 kg category at the Senior European Cup in Dubrovnik, Croatia, the best result in international competitions.
At the European Cadet Cup in Strasbourg, France, the gold medal in the over 90 kg category went to Christian Khokhlov, where the Ukrainian judoka finished all his fights with early victories, leaving no chance for the competitors, and for Christian, this is the first success of his career in the stages of the Cup Europe.
Fedor Yaroshenko (over 90 kg) and Ivan Chernychenko (up to 81 kg) won bronze medals.
Representatives of the Ukrainian national team won two gold medals simultaneously at the European Youth Cup in Poznan (Poland).
In the category weighing up to 73 kg, Anton Shugaliev won a total of six fights.
Diana Simchenko (more than 78 kg) also brought another “gold” to the treasury of the Ukrainian team.
These and other athletes have accumulated these awards for the benefit of their country, its people, and its defenders.
