The NBU points out that despite the reduction in the number of enterprises that have completely stopped their activities, 60% of enterprises operate below the pre-war level of workload, almost 23% – more than twice.
It is also clarified that small and medium-sized businesses are resuming operations at a slower pace.
A survey of small and medium-sized businesses showed a reduction in the number of unemployed enterprises from 42% to 26%. 17% have already resumed work, another 23% are preparing to resume, and the number of full-time entrepreneurs has increased from 13% to 20% (41% among large companies, according to AmCham)
At the end of April, most enterprises operated in agriculture, transport and the processing industry resumed operations. The most difficult situation in the construction and mining industries, much lower than the pre-war level remains the workload.
The NBU added that first of all the congestion of the occupied territories has improved, but in the regions with active hostilities / occupied regions the situation is difficult.
