Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko noted that in the conditions of the war the restoration of communication between the cities is the number one strategic task.
Tymoshenko reminded that the last time the train took these tracks was during the evacuation of Kyiv residents.
“At the same time, enemy artillery fired. Several empty passenger cars derailed. In less than a month, the railway workers of the Lviv City Planning Detachment, as well as specialists of the State Special Transport Service, rebuilt the railway bridge in Irpen! ”Tymoshenko wrote.
He said that the opening of the railway connection with Bucha, Vorzel, Borodyanka and other settlements of Kyiv region is ahead. Kyiv City Express trains will run on the route.
