In April, pensions were recalculated for family members of fallen servicemen. According to the results of recalculations, more than 2.2 thousand people received an increase in pensions by an average of 1.5 thousand hryvnias. This was announced by Minister of Social Policy Marina Lazebna .

The minimum guarantees for pensions of family members of the deceased serviceman stipulate that such a pension for each family member is not less than:
UAH 7,800 for each parent and spouse,
UAH 6,100 for each child.
This also applies to members of the families of fallen territorial defense volunteers, as since April, territorial pension volunteers have been subject to increased pension guarantees for servicemen.
In addition, the family of deceased Defenders of Ukraine includes members of the families of victims who defended the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine participating in the ATO / OOS, as well as the families of deceased volunteers of the Territorial Defense Forces Forces of Ukraine.
