Shmygal thanked the Bundestag for the decision to provide Ukraine with heavy weapons. This decision will help Ukrainian defenders to defend Ukrainian and European borders, the head of government said, because the war today is not only in Ukraine: Russia is also waging war in Europe with hybrid methods.
Shmygal also expressed gratitude for the readiness to accelerate the abandonment of Russian oil and gas.
“I called on Germany and German companies to join the reconstruction of Ukraine. We do not just want to rebuild what has been destroyed. We want to change our country, implement all reforms and be one of the most attractive countries to live on the European continent,” he said.
