Ukraine Gate- Kyiv – May 8, 2022- Russian hackers have carried out a series of DDoS attacks on German government websites, with the portals of the Ministry of Defense, the Bundestag, the Federal Police and a number of federal police agencies attacked.
In addition, Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s website was temporarily unavailable.
As these were protests against the supply of arms to Ukraine, the Federal Information Security Administration (BSI) said that such attacks are not very complex from a technological point of view and can be easily counteracted using standard techniques.
