 Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov discussed the situation on the battlefield and the need for weapons for Ukraine with US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin amid the signing of the land lease. Reznikov himself announced this on Twitter   .

US President Joe Biden signed on Monday, May 9 federal law on land leases for Ukraine.

Earlier, the US Congress passed a bill to introduce a lease for Ukraine.
