Ukraine Gate- Kyiv – May 11, 2022 – The British Ministry of Defense said on its official Twitter page that the Ukrainian army had struck Russian air defenses and support ships around Snake Island with Bayraktar drones.
After the Russian fleet withdrew to Crimea after the loss of the Moscow cruiser, Russian supply ships became unprotected in the western Black Sea.
The Ministry of Defense said that the current Russian efforts give Ukraine more opportunities to destroy Russian forces and military equipment so as to increase its forces on Snake Island.
The Ukrainian defenses also destroyed a Russian landing ship Sirna, two Raptor assault boats, a small landing craft and Tor MANPADS, and drowned 80 invaders near Zmini.
