It’s best to use instant oatmeal to make granola, and you can diversify with your favorite fruits and nuts, inventing new flavors every day.
It turns out that such a popular breakfast today as granola, known to mankind since the XIX century. In 1876, granola was produced in the United States according to the recipe of the American priest Sylvester Graham. At that time, a healthy breakfast did not find fans, but 100 years later they remembered the right habits again and began experimenting with the ingredients.
Ingredients:
400 g of oatmeal
100 g of nuts (cashews, almonds, walnuts)
100 g of dried fruits (cranberries, raisins)
100 ml of apple juice
50 g of coconut flakes
30 g goji berries (optional)
2-3 tbsp. l. honey
2-3 tbsp. l. oil
1 tsp vanilla sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
Cooking time: 40-50 minutes
Step by step preparation;

Mix apple juice, oil, honey and cinnamon in a saucepan. Heat over low heat, but do not bring to a boil. The mixture will become thinner and the honey will dissolve completely. Add vanilla sugar and mix well.

Add the liquid to the oatmeal and stir to soak the oatmeal well. Mix with your favorite nuts. If desired, they can be cut into large pieces with a knife. Spread the mixture on a baking sheet.

Bake the granola in the oven for 30-40 minutes at 175 ° C. Stir every 5-10 minutes so that the flakes and nuts turn brown on all sides and dry faster.

Dried fruits pour boiling water for 10 minutes, drain the water and dry. Add dried fruits and coconut flakes to the baked oatmeal. Granola is ready. You can pour milk, yogurt or your favorite juice. Baked granola should be stored in a tightly closed jar to keep it crispy.
