Ukraine Gate- Kyiv – May 15, 2022 – Serhiy Makogon, general manager of a foreign liquefied natural gas company, announced that it is possible to supply gas to Ukraine from liquefied natural gas stations in Greece, Croatia, Poland and Lithuania.
Last year, the guaranteed capacity of gas imports to Ukraine doubled, which currently stands at 54 million cubic meters per day, and guaranteed import capacities from Hungary amounting to 8 million cubic meters per day, and Poland 4 million cubic meters per day for the first time, and the capacities were increased. From Slovakia from 27 million cubic meters to 42 million cubic meters per day.
Ukraine has become an important gas transportation hub for Eastern and Southern Europe, providing gas transit from Poland to Hungary through Ukraine’s gas transportation capacity of more than one million cubic meters per day.
