Ukraine Gate- Kyiv – May 16, 2022 – The Honorary Consul of Azerbaijan in Kharkiv Afghan Salmanov said that the honorary consulate of Azerbaijan, which was damaged during the Russian missile attack, will resume work in Kharkiv on May 16.
“We restored the room in the consulate and decided to resume work from today, and the honorary consulate will resume its work in Kharkiv during the next time,” he added.
Salmanov noted that the building of the honorary consulate was damaged during the Russian missile attack.
Since the beginning of the war, the European Union has imposed five packages of sectoral and individual sanctions, which have caused severe damage to the Russian economy, and is working on a sixth package of European Union sanctions, which may apply to Russian energy supplies.
