Ukraine Gate- Kyiv – May 17, 2022- The Ukrainian Meteorological Service has warned of a cold wave expected in Ukraine on Wednesday, May 18. The wave will also come with lower temperatures, and the weather is expected to be windy and rainy.
In the afternoon, the weather is also expected to be colder in the central regions, in the northern part, in the Carpathian Mountains, the Crimean Mountains and the Sea of Azov, where temperatures range between 10 and 15 degrees, and in the rest of Ukraine the temperatures range between 14 and 18 degrees in the day.
Where it will rain on May 18 everywhere, except for the western regions, and strong gale-force north winds are also expected at times.
However, according to the forecaster, this cold snap will not last long.
As temperatures rise on Thursday and range between 16 and 23 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Service also announced the level of danger, with meteorologists warning that frost is expected on the soil surface on the night of May 18-19 in nine regions of Ukraine.
