Details
It is reported that the decision on further re-profiling of other penitentiary institutions will be made depending on the filling of the existing camp.
“There are 59 prisoner-of-war detention centers in penitentiaries and remand centers. There is no need to set up additional detention centers for this category of people today,” the response to the request said.
Thus, it is noted that the State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine has established 1 camp and 59 precincts for prisoners of war.
Addition
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the procedure for holding prisoners of war. In particular, the Ministry of Justice was instructed to identify and restructure penitentiary institutions for prisoner-of-war camps.
In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers allocated UAH 44.7 million to the Ministry of Justice to hold prisoners of war in prisons and detention camps.
