Ukraine Gate- Kyiv – May 19, 2022 – According to official figures, Russian forces killed 231 children in Ukraine and wounded 427, the Ukrainian Prosecutor’s Office reported.
But this data is not final, as work is underway to determine it in the places of active combat operations and in the areas occupied and temporarily liberated by the enemy.
The largest number of dead and wounded were children in the following areas:
- Donetsk – 144
- Kyiv region – 116
- Kharkiv region – 100
- Chernihiv region – 68
- Kherson region – 48
- Luhansk region – 47
- Mykolaiv region – 44
- Zaporizhia region – 28
- Sumy region – 17
- Zhytomyr region – 15
