The most popular destinations for Ukrainians to leave for permanent residence, following the results of 10 months of the year, were the USA, Lithuania and Russia.
Thus, according to the agency, for 10 months of 2020, the migration service issued documents for travel abroad for permanent residence to 3259 citizens of Ukraine.
Another 1,235 citizens of Ukraine returned to Ukraine for permanent residence.
The main countries to which Ukrainian citizens went for permanent residence this year: The United States of America (738 people), Lithuania (546 people), Russia (414 people).
In 2019 the territorial bodies of the LCA issued documents for departure abroad for permanent residence to 11,311 citizens of Ukraine, and in 1996 citizens returned for permanent residence in Ukraine.
The most popular destinations for travel abroad for permanent residence in 2019 were the United States (5842 people), Germany (1052 people), Russia (885 people).
