Ukraine Gate- Kyiv – May 21, 2022 – First Deputy Minister of Agriculture Taras Vysotsky stated that the ministry is convinced that the Ukrainian dairy sector is able to meet domestic demand and at the same time export dairy products.
He pointed out that the government did not restrict the export of dairy products, while for other categories of goods it prohibited exports or the need for licensing.
Deputy Head of the Ukrainian State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, Olga Shevchenko, also emphasized that the European Union has maintained a high level of confidence in products from Ukraine.
“Proof of this is the fact that even during the war, three new dairy companies were included in the list of food exporters to the member states of the European Union,” Shevchenko said.
