Ukraine Gate- Kyiv – May 21, 2022 – In an official statement from the White House, US President Joe Biden signed a law allocating additional funds to Ukraine in 2022, which allows more than $40 billion from the country’s budget to respond to Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.
It provides for additional emergency appropriations for fiscal year 2022 for federal agencies to respond to and provide assistance to the situation in Ukraine.
The bill was also approved by the House of Representatives on May 10 by an overwhelming majority of lawmakers, 368 to 67 in Congress, after more than a week of deliberation in the US Congress Senate, on Thursday, May 19, Senators voted – 86 in favor The document, and 11 who opposed it, after the signing of the US President, the law entered into force.

The bill provides for, among other things, the allocation of funds for weapons and equipment, assistance to Ukrainian refugees, organizational and technical support for nuclear energy, emergency food support, and economic assistance to Ukraine.
