Ukraine Gate- Kyiv – May 22, 2022 – The Finnish debt collection agency has frozen €76 million in assets of Russian businessmen and other individuals and companies subject to sanctions imposed after Russia’s attack on Ukraine.
According to an investigation by journalists, the debt collection department has frozen a large number of freight train cars, and according to the newspaper, more than 1,000 cars of this type have been confiscated as a result of the sanctions, the total cost of which can reach 20 million euros.
Large shipments of valuable raw materials were also confiscated, such as a shipment of iron ore valued at about 40 million euros, located in the port of Kokkola.
