“In 20 years of work, I have had to observe different turns of our foreign policy, but I have never been so ashamed of my country and my work as I was on February 24. This year, Putin launched an aggressive war with Ukraine, and in fact with the West. world, – not only a crime against the Ukrainian people, but also, perhaps, the gravest crime against the people of Russia, which in bold Z dashed all hopes for the gradual development of a successful democratic society in our country, “- said Bondarev.
In particular, Bondaryev criticized the work of the Russian Foreign Ministry and its head Sergei Lavrov.
“Minister Lavrov is a good illustration of the degradation of this system. In 18 years, he has gone from a professional and educated intellectual who many ministry officials wanted to emulate, to a man who constantly broadcasts contradictory statements and threatens the world (including Russia). “The Foreign Ministry does not engage in diplomacy today. It sows lies, incites hatred and war. Diplomacy serves the private interests of a narrow circle of people who have nothing to do with the real needs of Russian society,” Bondaryev said.
