Under the government’s Affordable Loans 5-7-9% program, banks have already issued almost 15.3 billion hryvnias in cheap loans to businesses, of which 265 loan agreements worth 621 million hryvnias in just one week.
“Since the start of the” Affordable Loans 5-7-9% “program, authorized banks have already issued 6,599 loans totaling UAH 15.295 billion,” the agency said.
According to the Ministry of Finance, out of the total amount, UAH 10.312 billion was issued as refinancing of previously received loans, UAH 2.908 billion was received by entrepreneurs for capital investments and UAH 2.073 billion as anti-crisis loans at 3%.
“Over the past week, authorized banks have issued 265 loans totaling more than 621 million hryvnias,” the agency added.
Of the UAH 297.51 million allocated for the week – refinancing agreements of previously issued loans, UAH 84.41 million – are investment loans issued by authorized banks, UAH 239.1 million – anti-crisis loans at 3%.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine made changes in conditions of the program “Available credits of 5-7-9%”.
The state credit program “Affordable loans 5-7-9%” is called to simplify access of micro and small business to bank crediting.
The program has three interest rates (depending on the date of establishment of the business and its annual turnover): 5% per annum – if the revenue is up to UAH 25 million and at least 2 jobs are created during the first quarter; 7% per annum – for businesses with revenue up to UAH 25 million; 9% per annum – for businesses with revenue up to UAH 50 million.
