The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhnyi published photos of the Caesar self-propelled artillery units provided by the partners, which are already in use on the front line.

Caesar is a new generation self-propelled artillery installation. It allows you to hit the enemy at a distance of 20 km or more from the front line with high accuracy. At this distance are artillery, reserves, enemy control points. Their destruction reduces the offensive potential of the enemy.
As noted, these ACS are on a wheeled chassis, which makes them mobile and maneuverable. The installation is equipped with an automated system of self-binding and homing to the target. It has a fairly high rate of fire – 5 shots per minute, and high accuracy. Can use several types of 155 mm ammunition used in NATO countries.
“Caesar” provides the survivability of the crew and comfortable working conditions. Gives the opportunity to act on the principle: fire – maneuver – fire.
