At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Foreign Minister Mikhail Fedorov presented Google Vice President Karan Khati with the Peace Award, an award for companies that have left the Russian market. The Minister announced this in his Telegram-channel .

“Google was the first to receive the Peace Award from Ukraine. Yesterday I had the honor to personally present it to the company’s vice president, Karan Bhatia,” Fedorov wrote.

The “Peace Award” was launched by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky for companies and corporations that have left the Russian market. And also for the governments and world politicians who support Ukraine the most.
Google was one of the first to join the sanctions against Russia: it closed a number of Russian propaganda media on YouTube, suspended new registrations in cloud services, Google Pay and monetization features for YouTube in Russia.
The corporation also supported Ukraine on the cyber front by providing protection tools for Ukrainian accounts against cyber attacks. And Google employees have made millions in donations and provided grants worth $ 45 million.
