Russian oil company Lukoil has signed final documents under an agreement to sell Shell’s assets in Russia, as well as a lubricant plant in the Tver region of Russia ,

The signing of the agreement was preceded by obtaining the relevant approval from the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia, the statement said.

“The well-being of our employees is extremely important to us. Under the terms of the agreement, more than 350 Shell Oil employees will continue to work for the company, which is now owned by Lukoil,” said Shell Downstream Director Heibert Vigeveno.
Maxim Donde, Lukoil’s vice president of oil products, said he was “confident that Shell’s facilities will be a good addition to Lukoil’s portfolio of available assets.”

On April 20, Shell announced the withdrawal of its employees from Russian projects.
