Ukraine Gate- Kyiv – May 26, 2022 – Maria Melnik, Head of the Culture Department of the Zolochev City Council, announced via Facebook that the Ukrainian poet, composer and singer-songwriter Teodor Kokoroza from the Lviv region had died at the age of 65.

Theodore Korn – artist, poet, composer and singer, his creative output includes more than 380 songs and 5 collections of songs, the most famous of which is “Your Birthday”, his songs are sung on the radio and accompanied by historical and patriotic programs and films.
Theodor Kokoroza has also addressed the Ukrainian diaspora in the United States and Canada several times, also performed by People’s Artists of Ukraine, teams of the Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The singer grew up in the village of Verkhobog, in the Zolochev district of the Lviv region, in 1976 he created VIA “Sources of the Bug”, and in 1980 he graduated from the Drubich State Pedagogical University named after Ivan Franko with a degree in mathematics, and also held the position of head Department of Culture of the Zolochev City Council, and in 2010-2015 he was a deputy in the Lviv Regional Council.
