The President of Ukraine stated that Russia has bypassed most international sanctions due to the lack of a unified global position against its invasion of Ukraine.

Volodymyr Zelensky claimed that some of the countries that imposed sanctions on Russia at the same time helped Moscow bypass most of them.

“Unfortunately, we do not see sanctions putting much pressure on Russia,” Zelensky said in a video address to Stanford University students.
The Ukrainian leader called on world leaders to impose sanctions on Moscow, saying it was “the right weapon against Russia.”
His speech was part of a special video address to students at Stanford University in California.
