Ukraine’s application for accession to the European Union will be considered at the next EU summit in June, according to the conclusions of the European Council .

“The European Council takes note of the preparation of the European Commission’s conclusions on Ukraine’s application for EU membership, as well as the Republic of Moldova and Georgia, and will return to this issue at its June meeting,” the summit concluded.

It also states that the European Union and its member states are stepping up their efforts to establish contacts with third countries to support Ukraine in all these aspects, counter false Russian narratives and manipulation of information, and prevent the evasion and circumvention of sanctions.
Addition
On May 9, Ukraine completed and submitted to the European Commission the final part of the EU membership questionnaire. A positive decision is expected in June.
