The Cabinet of Ministers proposed to the Verkhovna Rada to introduce a moratorium on raising tariffs for heating, hot water and gas.

“The bill defines a set of measures aimed at introducing a moratorium on raising prices and tariffs in the natural gas market and in the field of heat supply during martial law throughout Ukraine and within six months after its termination or abolition,” – said in an explanatory note.
Details
The moratorium will apply to:
- tariffs for natural gas distribution services;
- tariffs for thermal energy (its production, transportation and supply) and services for the supply of thermal energy;
- tariffs for hot water supply;
- natural gas prices for household consumers.
