Additional negotiations are needed to conclude an agreement on export permits with Russia within the framework of the envisaged agreements on the resumption of Ukrainian food exports, UN crisis coordinator for Ukraine Amin Avid said on Friday .

“In principle, Russia has agreed to this, but further negotiations should be held to also facilitate exports from Russia,” Amin Awad said at an online UN briefing in Geneva.

Belarusian ruler Alexander Lukashenko said in an interview with the local newspaper Belarus Today that his country was ready to discuss the possible transit of Ukrainian grain through Belarus. “Now everyone is looking for logistics. Please, we can talk. We do not mind: drive through Belarus, but there must be compromises,” Lukashenko was quoted as saying.
