During the war, many Ukrainians moved their work and study online. The mobile operator analyzed the traffic and identified the most popular applications among Ukrainians .
The first place in the ranking is occupied by Google Meet, which is used by more than 1.6 million subscribers of the company on their smartphones every month. In second place with a symbolic lag – Zoom, which is used by about 1.6 million Ukrainians. On the third, already with a much bigger difference, Microsoft Teams, where almost 600 thousand users per month. On average, users spend the most time during the day in Microsoft Teams – 32 minutes, a little less in Zoom – 21 minutes.
Applications used for training are analyzed separately. The Wikipedia online library is visited by 4.3 million subscribers a month, Google Classroom by 760,000, and the Duolingo language learning application by 230,000. And most of the time on average per day they spend studying foreign languages in Duolingo – 15 minutes.
The data presented in the ranking are generalized and depersonalized statistics of all mobile Internet traffic. Data are for April 2022.
