As Nevzorov applied for Ukrainian citizenship, and wanted to leave his citizenship because he supports Ukraine.
According to him, Ukraine need to use any weapon.
“We are happy when Makarvich or Akhedzhakova support Ukraine and try to deprive them of everything, and I think it is important that they support us since the beginning of the war, when Russia’s invasion of Ukraine began, and I think that these are the weapons of Ukraine, that is, people of non-Ukrainian citizenship, who clearly cross On their pro-Ukrainian stance and opposition to the Russian government, I think they are on our side.”
The president added that he has large lists of those who have applied for Ukrainian citizenship, and according to him, the waiting list contains people from different countries, from Belarus, Georgia and more.
At the same time, Zelensky denied the possibility of obtaining Ukrainian citizenship by well-known Russians such as Oleg Deripaska or Roman Abramovich.
“I am a suitable person and if there are people of another nationality who support Ukraine, who lose the citizenship of another country, they are dissidents and are currently hiding in Europe, in one country or another who want to support Ukraine – I think our authorities can consider the possibility of granting them citizenship, and we do not We are talking about any enemies of Ukraine, or some oligarchs.”
