Ukraine Gate – Kyiv – June 6, 2022- During a meeting with journalists, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine was offered to pass through Belarus by rail during the process of exporting grain abroad.
Russian President Putin described Russia’s obstruction of the grain export process from Ukraine as a “deceptive” message, which provokes a food crisis, and indicated that export options are possible, and that the simplest and cheapest option in his opinion is through Belarus.
Prime Minister Dennis Shmygal accused Russia of deliberately exacerbating the global food crisis, condemned the blockade of Ukrainian ports, and called on the United Nations and international partners to take decisive joint action to confront these challenges.
According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, there are facts about the export of grain by the occupiers from the temporarily occupied territories, and the stolen grain is transported either to Russia, mainly from Kharkiv, Donetsk and Luhansk, or through the temporarily occupied Crimea – from Zaporizhia and Kherson regions.
