The bodies of the dead servicemen were exchanged between Ukraine and Russia according to the “50 to 50” formula, among them are 37 defenders of “Azovstal”. This was reported by the Ministry of Reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine .

According to them, the relevant agreement was reached as a result of negotiations with the participation of the Commissioner for Missing Persons under special circumstances Oleg Kotenko.
The exchange operation was conducted by the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Security Service of Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other law enforcement agencies of Ukraine.
