Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov announced on the United News TV and Radio Marathon that Russian occupation forces would soon leave Melitopol .

According to Fedorov, the occupiers want to hold a pseudo-referendum in Melitopol and start another information war. He noted that Ukrainians will not take to the streets with Russian flags and fully support Ukraine.

“In my opinion, the support of the racist Russian federation will never appear in the territory of our temporarily occupied cities,” Fedorov added.
Regarding Melitopol, the mayor noted that there are several signs that the occupiers will not stay long.
The first is that the Russians want to export Ukrainian grain at a rapid pace. The second is that there are no more racists in the Melitopol district, they have left the checkpoints.
