A bill to support borrowers whose property has been destroyed or damaged as a result of the Russian Federation’s armed aggression against Ukraine has been registered in parliament .
The document has now been submitted to the leadership of the parliament.

The bill was drafted on behalf of the President. According to the co-author of the project, the head of the Finance Committee of the Verkhovna Rada Danylo Getmantsev, the document was agreed with the National Bank and the government.

Earlier, Hetmantsev said that the idea contained in the document is quite simple: “A person whose home or car was destroyed as a result of hostilities must submit an application, must prove that the object is destroyed. In this case, his loan is written off for the mechanisms that will be provided by the bill itself. And this amount will be reimbursed to the credit institution by the state. “
