Ukraine Gate – Kyiv – June 15, 2022- Ukrainian vocational education institutions have equalized the rights of students and teachers in universities. Another part of the male population of Ukraine was released from the ongoing mobilization in Ukraine. This category includes students and teachers of vocational schools.
This law has also entered into force in Ukraine, which exempts students and teachers from vocational schools from conscription.
This document in our country equates the rights of students and teachers in vocational schools with the rights of students and teachers in universities, that is, they receive a deferment from conscription for military service.
But two points should be made clear, because there are exceptions in this category:
Only full-time or double students can get a deferment from mobilization, as for teachers of vocational schools, the deferment is granted only to whom teaching in vocational schools is their main place of work, and receive at least 0.75 of their salary there.
A spokesman for the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces also said that the practice of submitting attendance notes at checkpoints or other crowded places is not against the law.
As there are categories of citizens that are not subject to mobilization and are not subject to compulsory conscription.
