Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said during a joint press conference with the leaders of France, Germany, Italy and Romania that he is still insisting on agreeing to the seventh package of European Union sanctions against the Russian Federation.
They talked about the new sanctions steps imposed by the European Union that are required to restore peace, and Zelensky stressed the need to agree to the seventh package of sanctions.
He added that the issues of post-war reconstruction of Ukraine will be discussed in more detail with the leaders of European countries.
And that they will continue to discuss this after the press conference, and they will also discuss working to compensate for all the losses that Russia has caused to Ukraine and to Ukrainian citizens, their businesses and companies.
“Our state is working very actively in this regard,” the head of state said.
French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi and Romanian President Klaus Iohannis are also in Ukraine, where they have already visited Erbin and held talks with Volodymyr Zelensky.
