Ukraine Gate – Kyiv – June 18, 2022- Ukrainian defender Roman Ratushny died in Kyiv, as a service to the slain Ukrainian soldier was underway in St. Michael’s Cathedral in Kyiv.
Burial will also take place at Baikovo Cemetery, and farewell to Independence Square.
As reported, the well-known activist in the capital, soldier in the 93rd “Cold Yar” Brigade Roman Ratushny in the Kharkiv region, was in reconnaissance as part of a combat group and died while performing a combat mission, the death was announced on June 14.
On July 5, Roman Ratuchni would have turned 25, a participant in the Dignity Revolution at the age of 16, and a public activist.
From the first day of the Russian conquest, he participated in the battles near Kyiv, and then, as part of OMBR “Cold Yar” 93, liberated Trostents, fought in the Sumy region and near Izyum.
Roman Ratuchny is also known for his struggle to save Protasov Yar from building.
