Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has been assassinated five times. This was stated by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexei Danilov in an interview with The Globe and Mail .

Danilov said Russia’s attack on Ukraine involved five separate attempts to assassinate Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, all of which took place in late February and early March.
He did not disclose details of the attacks, although at the beginning of the war he spoke publicly about a detachment of Chechen militants tasked with killing Zelensky, but which was “completely destroyed”.
