Ukraine Gate – Kyiv – June 21, 2022- According to data released by the Prosecutor General’s Office, the number of child victims as a result of the Russian aggression against Ukraine as of June 21 reached 910, 323 children were injured and 587 children were killed in the Russian invasion.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office indicates that the number of injured children is not final, as work is underway to install them in places of actual fighting in the occupied and temporarily liberated territories.
Children were most affected in the following areas:
- Donetsk region – 302
- Kharkiv region – 174
- Kyiv region – 116
- Chernihiv region – 68
- Luhansk region – 54
- Kherson region – 52
- Mykolaiv region – 48
- Zaporizhia region – 30
- Sumy region – 17.
