Ukraine Gate – Kyiv – June 21, 2022- President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the Prime Minister of Ireland Michael Martin for supporting the status of a candidate for membership in the European Union and invited him to visit Ukraine.
The head of state announced this on Twitter.
“I had a conversation with the Prime Minister of Ireland, Michael Martin, on the eve of the historic European Council meeting. He thanked Ireland for its active support of Ukraine’s European aspirations and EU candidate status. He invited to visit Ukraine with the first visit in the history of bilateral relations, “Zelensky said.
As reported, a meeting of the European Council is to take place in Brussels on June 23-24.
